Trust has to be earned here too.
Nobody Owns Your Vote is independent civic media. The standard is simple: be useful to voters, be honest about limits, and do not dress up unsupported claims as civic clarity.
This project is allowed to make moral arguments. It is allowed to publish values-based civic writing, voter-agency essays, and plainspoken opinion. But factual claims about public life need care.
Voters deserve better than propaganda with nicer typography. They deserve clear lines between opinion, argument, evidence, uncertainty, and process.
Human review
Public-facing civic copy should be reviewed by a human before publishing. AI tools may help with drafts, structure, editing, formatting, or site maintenance, but they do not replace judgment and they are not sources.
Opinion and factual claims
Values-based writing can move quickly.
Essays about voter agency, public trust, corruption, and civic responsibility can publish when human-reviewed and not dependent on unsupported factual claims.
Factual claims need sourcing.
Claims about candidates, elections, polling, laws, public records, allegations, voting deadlines, policy, or current events should be sourced before publication. The Source Library explains how source-backed pages handle those claims.
Uncertainty should stay visible.
Unsupported claims stay out of public copy until they can be sourced and described accurately.
Corrections

Independence
Nobody Owns Your Vote is not a party site, campaign operation, fake grassroots project, or private voter-targeting system. It should not impersonate people, manufacture support, or manipulate voters through hidden personalization.
